Head Coach – Jaimie Gaudreau

Coaches: Age Group 1 & 2

Jaimie has  been head coach of the Wahoos since the 2011/2012 season and has over 10 years of competitive swim coaching experience. She is a level 1 certified coach working on her level 2 designation. Jaimie began swimming at the age of 13 with the Newmarket Stingrays and swam through university with the Laurentian Voyageurs. She has previously coached with the Newmarket Stingrays and Grimshaw Gators swim clubs.

Assistant Coach – Alisha Mody

Coaches: Development 1

Alisha has  been an assistant coach with the Wahoos since the 2011/2012 season and has over 10 years of competitive swim coaching experience. She previously has coached with the Peace River Porpoises, the Grimshaw Gators and the Edmonton Keyano. She is a level 1 certified coach working on her level 2 designation. Alisha began swimming at the age of 9 with the Peace River Porpoises.

Assistant Coach – Ashleigh Malarczuk

Coaches: Development 1

This is Ashleigh’s second season coaching with the Wahoos. She got her start in aquatics as a competitive synchronized swimmer and coach. She has a lot of experience in aquatics including being a water safety instructor trainer for swimming lessons and coaching with the Grimshaw Gators summer swim club. 

Assistant Coach – Mireille Belzile

Coaches: Development 2

This is Mireille’s second season coaching with the Wahoos. She is a former competitive swimmer with the Peace River Porpoises and has also coaches with the Porpoises in the summer.

Assistant Coach – Lisa Wedderburn

Coaches: Learn to Swim

This is Lisa’s third year coaching with the Wahoos. Lisa swam for 6 years as a child. She is a certified community coach, has volunteered with the Wahoos development groups, has experience coaching soccer and as a teachers assistant.
